BLOG ENTRY

” Advertising is everywhere you look, whether it is in the newspaper

you pick up daily or on that billboard you see while driving down

the highway….”


I think that what appears in that quote its true, you see advertisement EVERYWHERE you look.
Our Society now is bassed on the competition and if someone catch the buyers attention better than you, your business will be ruined. For example we see a lot of ads of coca - cola, and thats why pepsi also do many ads and compete with them. So its seems to be a vicious circle in wich all the products need to be sell. In this country its illegal the monopoli so anyone has an secure position in the market.

Today the commercials are increasing; 20 years before if you have a television or something like that, you see an ad like one per day, and now I think that you see 50 per day, its something amazing; the offerer have the mission that everyday have to improve new techniques ti attract the buyer, visual techniques, aural techniques, etc. I think that the commercials that symbolize most the attention are with the celebrity endorsement.

To conclude this, I will give my personal opinion that is that the competence its good, because the offerer will give us a better product that the others, and the others will make the effort to superate him, so the buyer will have many options to choose.

ANALYZING ADS



1. What product or service is the commercial trying to sell?
  -This ad is trying to sell an excellent paint called "Olympic ONE".
2. Where was the commercial set? Describe the setting(s).
  -This set is a house of a family (husband - wife - son). We can see this because there is a baby in the house  verging the wall. 
3. Who was in the commercial? Describe the people involved.
- There is only a little baby in the commercial, but also there is more people involved in the AD like the parents of that baby being relaxed and not worried about that beautiful wall painting.
4. What objects were in the commercial? Describe them.
-The principal object is to persuade the people to buy this type product. The other objects are related in what the people have to see in the AD. For example the color of the paint; this color attracts people and give a harmony environment. 
5. What happened in the commercial? Provide as much detail as you can.
- In the comercial a baby is verging a beautiful wall in a house. As a normal baby in the world, she don´t mind what she´s doing, and we can notice also that nobody is worried about that action. So we can conclude that now is not a problem that any baby streak a wall with the "Olympic ONE"
6. What is the target group?
- The target group are all the parents that have child. Also there is a "sub-target" group, that can be all the persons that like to have there houses impecable. 
7. What is the message?
-The message is that this paint is the only one that can be striped and cleaned. That you will be not worried about buying new paint if your baby streak the wall.
8. What are the aural and visual techniques?
- We can´t see aural techniques. The visual techniques are the color of the wall that gives "hospitality" to the people that see this. Also the paint jar position because it´s easy to memorize how it looks the jar so when you go and purchase you will see it quickly. 
9. Do you find celebrity endorsement?
- No, this commercial in particular don´t need a celebrity endorsement, just an innocent cute baby.
